While visiting Paris, I was reminded not just of romance and beauty, but also of responsibility. It’s the city that gave birth to the climate accord shaping today’s sustainable practices.

In December 2015, a historic moment unfolded in France. The world’s leaders gathered at COP21, culminating in the Paris Agreement, a legally binding treaty aiming to limit global warming to well below 2°C, preferably to 1.5°C. What began as a diplomatic pact has since become a north star for companies, cities, and individuals to rethink their role in this shared climate journey.

J’ai marché dans les rues avec la conviction que mes petits choix d’aujourd’hui créent des impacts durables.

At Loop and Love, the Paris Agreement isn’t just political history, it’s a blueprint. 🌍

C’est un rappel puissant que chaque action locale peut soutenir un objectif global.

The goals outlined in the Paris Agreement directly inspired us to define the “triple impact”model for our products:

🌿 Environmental: we use eco-conscious materials such as recycle/ eco-friendly yarns and packaging.

🤝 Social: for every item sold, we donate 1kg of hygiene products to children in orphanages across Southeast Asia.

📦 Economic: we focus on regional sourcing to support nearby communities and reduce emissions from logistics.

This aligns with key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), particularly:

Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being

Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production

Goal 13: Climate Action

Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals

This is why we don’t see Loop and Love as “just a brand.”

It is a commitment, un petit engagement personnel, that reflects global agreements, like COP21, through everyday products.

As a sustainable project manager and founder, I’ve always asked: how do we bring global frameworks into tangible action? Our answer:

Loop and Love 是一个真实的桥梁,连接联合国的气候目标和日常生活中的小小选择。

So whether you’re wearing our handmade scrunchies or gifting our care products, know this:

You’re not just supporting a small business:

Vous participez à un mouvement mondial.

Callout Box:

What is the Paris Agreement?

Signed at COP21 in Paris, the Paris Agreement is a legally binding international treaty on climate change. Its central goal is to limit global warming to 1.5–2°C, with commitments from nearly 200 countries.

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals are a global blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future by 2030. They address challenges from poverty and health to education, climate, and economic growth.
